Our son, a Jr. in high school, has been playing lacrosse for 5 years.  During those 5 years he has played for a variety of coaches, gone to camps, attended clinics and has played in numerous tournaments.  Lacrosse is his PASSION!  His goal is to play at the college level. By chance last summer he had the opportunity to play for Coach Trig and Blackwolf at the Brine Shootout.  The Shootout and playing for Coach Trig was an experience he will not forget and neither will we. In the short time Coach Trig has worked with our son, he has redefined his shot for speed and accuracy and his game playing is at another level.  Our son has received many D1, D2 and D3 letters and all of them are referencing back to his play with Blackwolf and Coach Trig. Coach Trig has helped us tremendously over the past months with the recruiting process and is helping my son achieve his goal to play lacrosse in college. We couldn't be more grateful for his passion and love of the game and how he has brought out the BEST in our son. "This is our son's sixth year of playing lacrosse, but his first year of understanding the mechanics for both the game and his specific position(Goalie). His dramatic change is entirely the result of coaching from "Coach Trig". Looking at tape from last season he doesn't even look like the same player. What a change from seven months ago! Team coaches took raw talent and dedication but were unable to harness our son's abilities. Then Coach Trig began working with our son. He started with the general assessment of skills and abilities over the first few months and proceeded to break down our son's position techniques to the most basic parts. He focused on each skill as a separate piece of the overall package. As improvements continued, Coach Trig then added in broader skills focusing on what other players would be doing and how to counter their actions. There is a definite gap in coaching available for players with a few years experience vs. those in high school when college scouts are searching for recruits. Many coaches of players in this age group assume that they know how to coach the game. The reality is that few players are equipped with the knowledge to take their game to the next level. Coach Trig has bridged this gap and provided remarkable training for our son. He not only constantly encourages him through positive technique correction, but also is a trusted mentor.
